Hello, friends,
My name is Alex and this is my first post here, nice to meet you all.
In a few days I will get my new NMax 155 from the dealership and I will be joining the squad. The dealership is located at about 60 kms from the city I live in, therefore I need to commute on the scooter back home.
Can you tell me how should I use the scooter in the first thousand km? Is there a breaking in period necessary? What RPM / max speed I am allowed to use so the scooter gets properly breaked in?
Thank you for the advices.
Cheers,
New NMax 155 breaking in period
Re: New NMax 155 breaking in period
Thats no problem, drive the first 10km not faster than 55-60 km/h till the oil is warm enough. Than you can go 70-75 km/h, no interrupt nessasary. Have fun.

Re: New NMax 155 breaking in period
Hi, Klaus,
Thank you for your input. I’ve searched the internet and I found people that said in the first 1000 km you should not go over half the throttle (55-60 km/h) and I find this to be pretty weird, this is why I asked here.
Cheers!

There are clash of opinions, what i wrote is mine. My Nmax ist 7 years old and have 45000km on the clock. It works like a charme and i would do it in the same way again.
