Dipstick "correct" side?

Hi, guys,

I hope my question finds you well, and maybe you're willing to share your knowledge.

I've been checking the oil level according to the manual (engine hot, 10 minutes waiting period, scooter on center stand) and noticed that because of the tilted filler neck, the dipstick indicates two different level, depending on what side you're looking at. Engine has about 600 kilometers on the clock and I cannot figure if it burned a little bit of oil or is topped to the max.

Question, what is the correct side? The "A" side or the "B" side?
