Well... Reading about your nightmare is probably more entertaining than going trough all of that personally.
Unfortunately the quality of most of these transport companies is pretty poor in Germany as well as here in Austria.

Not gonna lie, I was frustrated in the first day when the first windshield was cracked by the shipping company. But when the second one came with a big scratch it all became funny. I'm curious about the third unit...the seller hasn't said anything in the last week...my guess is that even the third one came with a crack or a scratch and ordered a new one

All of this could have been avoided if the seller allowed me to pick the first one by myself.

Not gonna lie, it is huge. But I'll get to my trusty friend - the angle grinder - and shape it as much as I want

UPDATE: The windshield arrived - in one piece this time. I'm starting to get used with it, visually. Other than this, if I ride with the visor up, all the wind gets in my helmet...and that's because I'm pretty tall at 1.90 m, therefore I've got mixed feelings with it.

I laughed . BMW C1 is an interesting scooter but I'm not that old yet ))) The problem is not the wind itself, the problem is that this windshield forces the wind right in the helmet and gets noisy ) But I can live with it since I've ridden only naked bikes in the last 13 years.

I personally love to feel the wind in my face, though the noise in my helmet is a bit disturbing.

Update. After one week with the Puig V-Tech Touring windshield, I've decided to sell it. It creates some weird air currents and sometimes you feel that it destabilizes the scooter. I'm happy with the standard windshield for the moment.
